Shinobi Salary

Starting Ryo
When your character is first approved and is also part of a Major Village (not a Wanderer) - there is a set amount of Starting Ryo that your character may be entitled to. The amount differs between the Village’s and you’ll need to check the Village Roster to see what (if any) amount is available.

You will claim that amount in your characters updates using the approved update template and then you can add the amount to your total ryo.

Monthly Shinobi Pay
When a character is part of a Major Village’s Military they may be entitled to a salary. The amount and whether or not they are entitled at all is usually at the discretion of the current Kage, though sometimes it is at the discretion of the character in charge of doing the Village’s monthly updates.

When the monthly Village updates are posted there will be a line in the expenses section detailing Shinobi Salary (this is the total amount paid to all Shinobi in the Village), beneath that each Shinobi will be listed by name with the appropriate amount of Ryo paid out beside their name.

In order to claim this amount you must make an update on your Character Update page using the approved update template that will look something like this;

While we make every effort to ensure that Village Rosters are updated, sometimes we miss things. If you think your character should be listed as receiving a salary but they aren’t, please let staff know and we can correct it.
